● Work with SBT GRVL staff to set up “No Parking” signs
● Cover a determined area of streets with signage (one of which will be from Yampa Street to 13th Street in front of the bus station)
● Signs will be provided
● Wear comfortable shoes for walking

We will need two volunteers per team. All three teams (6 people total) will meet downtown at the race area and work with SBT GRVL staff about driving the course and setting up the course signage.

Team 1 will place signs from start Line on course to Mystic Descent
Team 2: will place signs from Mystic Descent on course to Aid Station 4/5
Team 3: will place signs from Aid Station 4/5 to Trout Creek AND Corkscrew to Finish

● Wear comfortable clothes and shoes for moving around equipment/walking

- Help the Alpine Bank team with race participant registration, make sure waivers are signed by the parents of the racers, and help participants navigate the mini course
- It will be a fun activation as part of the SBT GRVL expo experience
- Cheer on the little ones as they go through the race course

As a thank you to all of our volunteers who are working throughout the day, we are going to be providing breakfast or lunch depending on the time of your shift, provided by Yampa Sandwich Company! Aid station, on-course, or off-site volunteers will get this delivered to them, downtown volunteers can pick up food at the SBT GRVL HQ Tent at 9th & Yampa Street.

Aid Stations can be a bit hectic. Racers flying in and needing things ASAP can be stressful. We appreciate your help in making their day on the bike possible. Our goal is to provide each racer with the best experience we can. Treat them like family (even when they may show up at your tent all fired up) and understand that it’s not personal.

Key Responsibilities:

**Be encouraging, cheerful and excited to see racers-you never know what kind of day a person is having out there and you can absolutely influence that in a positive way**
● Aid Station Leader:
○ Will determine positions for other volunteers
○ Make sure everything is set up before arrival of first racer
○ Ensure all volunteers are treating racers and community members with respect and courtesy

● Water Filling
○ Utilize tanks/bottles/hose to make sure water is always available and full. This is one of the most important parts of the Aid Station.
○ GU drink mixes will be placed next to water jugs

● Food Prep
○ Make sure fruit is cut and available
○ Make Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwiches
○ Organize GU products

● Trash Clean Up
○ Make sure trash is picked up within a 500 yard radius
○ Collect all wrappers in specific GU TerraCycle containers

● Tear Down
○ Take down all tables, tents, etc.
○ Pack into available totes/boxes to be moved to other stations
○ Take down tents

Aid station, on-course, or off-site volunteers will get this delivered to them, downtown volunteers can pick up food at the SBT GRVL HQ Tent at 9th & Yampa Street.

Key Responsibilities:
● Stand at finish line area aid station and hand out GU recovery drinks and Cokes out of paper cups.
● Make sure there are always cups full of above drinks that cyclists can grab as they cross the finish line.
● Help other volunteers at finish line direct cyclists toward the bike corral
● Wear comfortable shoes/clothes

- You will stand on the corner of CR 45 and CR 33 to direct and ensure that all course riders turn left onto paved CR 33

Key Responsibilities:
*This volunteer person must be tip certified*
- Work with our party alcohol sponsors, Mountain Tap Brewery and Steamboat Whiskey, to help them serve their respective alcohol offerings
- Be available to help support alcohol vendors in whatever tasks they need taken care of at the party (keeping inventory stocked, tapping kegs, pouring cocktails, etc)
