Course marshalling

Bicycling course marshall

You must be 18 or older to volunteer for this task.

November 11, 2017

Details

If you are willing to volunteer the entire time, please sign up for both time slots, thank you!

Course marshalls will monitor the course while riding on bicycle as the race is on a rails to trail that does not allow motor vehicles (except in case of emergency vehicles or official park business). Course marshalls will assist participants in need, must have a cell phone to call 911 in case of emergency. You will also report to the aid stations and race directors the progress of the participants so we can decide when to shut down each aid station and the finish line.

At the start of the race, two course marshalls will be asked to direct the runners at the turns on Camp Ranch Road, then continue on to monitor the course after the last runner has made all the proper turns.
