7pm meet at North Beach in Fort Desoto Park for review of course and set up of cones.
Ed Crouse will have the cones (120) and sandwich boards in his truck and will come to the park.

Details

Race Day registration and packet pick up begins at 6:30am for runners. Please arrive to Shelter #2 by 6:00am.
Three (3) will be checking in racers and providing bibs, three people will be support people that run and get the t-shirt and race bag.
We will be using mobile app for check in, so racers will be directed to use their phone to register and then system will immediately assign them a bib number and you can provide them their race goodie bag.
In the event someone doesn't have a phone and hasn't registered, you can use your phone, go to the Salty Sands Run Sign Up website and register them.
*Important note: You MUST keep track of any new registrations that occur during this time. We will need to give a list of name, bib number and race to the race timer, so he knows these new entries were added.
*Please wear last year's Salty Sands t-shirt.

Details

Volunteers will provide direction, encouragement and monitor safety of participants throughout the 5k/10k course and the 1 mile course.
Will need to arrive to Volunteer Check In table at North Beach (in front of Shelter #1) by 6:45am. Volunteer briefing at 6:50am and will then find your way to your spot on the course. Feel free to bring signs to cheer people/teams on and noisemakers are welcome.
Also bringing a chair that you can carry to your spot is recommended because there will be some waiting time as we get everyone into their spots and get ready for the race to start.
You will be done as soon as runners complete the course. This will be no later than 9am, which is when the roads officially re-open.
