Race Day Course Volunteer | Thursday November 25th 2021
7:30 am to 11:30 am (ending time approximate)

Race Day Volunteers are needed along the course, including the start and finish line areas, to ensure the safety of all participants and spectators. All Race Day Volunteers must attend a 7:30 am Mandatory Briefing on 11/25/21.

All volunteers will be required to adhere to public health protocols regarding COVID-19 that are in effect at the time of the event. These protocols will reflect guidance established by the Dare County Health Department, NC Department of Health & Human Services, CDC, in addition to best practices established by the RRCA (Road Runners Club of America).

Volunteer Rosters will be finalized by 9/15/21. Your participation and availability will be confirmed by the Race Director for logistical planning and purchases related to your involvement in our event -- thank you!

Scarborough Lane Shoppes; 1171 Duck Road, Duck NC, 27949 and at designated locations along established course.

Post Race Party Volunteer | Thursday November 25th 2021 High Priority

Post Race Party Volunteer | Thursday November 25th 2021

Volunteers are needed to assist with all logistics of the event's post race party. This includes set-up, distribution, and clean-up.

All volunteers will be required to adhere to public health protocols regarding COVID-19 that are in effect at the time of the event. These protocols will reflect guidance established by the Dare County Health Department, NC Department of Health & Human Services, CDC, in addition to best practices established by the RRCA (Road Runners Club of America).

12:30 pm to 5:30 pm

Volunteers are needed to check-in all registered participants, distribute goody bags & event tees, and other related event tasks on Wednesday, November 24th.

All volunteers will be required to adhere to public health protocols regarding COVID-19 that are in effect at the time of the event. These protocols will reflect guidance established by the Dare County Health Department, NC Department of Health & Human Services, CDC, in addition to best practices established by the RRCA (Road Runners Club of America).

The event is the cornerstone fundraising event for the Annual ADVICE 5K Turkey Trot Fund, a permanent charitable endowment managed by the Outer Banks Community Foundation.
