This is a high-traffic, high-intensity area where volunteers will direct the athletes to slow down as they approach the southern turnaround point. Volunteers MUST stay alert and pay close attention to ensure the safety of the athletes.

Highway north bound lanes will be shut down 4 AM - 12 PM.

At the Swim Start, VIP athletes have the option to drop off a clothing bag which will be transported to the Finish Line. All clothing bags will be organized in boxes inside trucks, that correspond to athlete race numbers. Volunteers will collect the athlete's bags at each truck and drop them in the appropriate boxes. Trucks then head to the Finish Line.
