Miles 4 Myles

We have decided to plan events this year that do not involve running.  Last year, seeing Myles struggle to run his lap around the lake, broke our hearts.  He is really into the 80's this year and we also have an amazing friend who is part of a wonderful group who have offered to fully sponsor a spaghetti dinner.  We will always honor Myles as a superhero, and in 2019, our focus goes to you, the superheros who help us support this cause and raise money for research that will help kiddos like Myles, to live longer, happier, and healthier lives.

OUR WHY

In 2015, as our son Myles underwent his fourth open heart surgery, we organized a virtual 5K superhero run.  We asked our friends and family who participated to post pictures of themselves during the day, which kept our spirits up as Myles was in surgery, and also gave him some fun pictures and videos to watch as he recovered.

This event was very therapeutic for us and raised over $4000 with proceeds benefiting the Saving tiny Hearts Society, an organization created by a Mom & Dad of a child like Myles, who was born with a complex congenital heart defect.  Their mission is raising seed money for grossly under-funded, lifesaving grass roots research of congenital heart defects (CHD’s)

Over the last 4 years, we have been able to donate close to $40,000!
