Use clothespins to attach lanterns to chain link fence.
Each lantern gets one light hung from top of lantern.

Race Course Set Up

Star Tent Coordinators

Details

Our "Stars" are pediatric brain tumor survivors and their families. They are the VIPs of the evening. There will be a separate tent for these families to congregate, do activities, socialize, rest, enjoy the evening.
Volunteers at this location will focus on the families and their needs. Facilitate introductions and conversations. Keep them apprised of events as they are happening so they don't miss a thing! All games, food, and events are free for them to participate. We are providing gift bags to the Stars and their siblings.

Area for participants and star families to find information about all things pediatric brain tumor!
Host lost and found area.

Provide information about the Danny Green Fund. A family run charity in the UK that funds critical research and provides physical and occupational therapy for children affected by posterior fossa syndrome after surgery for their brain tumors. We will be doing a 50/50 in support of them.

Provide information about Thea's Star of Hope. Another family run charity targeted at supporting families affected by pediatric brain tumors in NJ. Also doing a 50/50 for them.

Hoping the volunteers for this location are interested in raising awareness and really encouraging folks to take handouts, support research and family run charities.

50 yard dash coordinator

Need at least one person to coordinate our 50 yard dash for kids 10 and under. This will be held just prior to the run start. Prizes will be awarded to all participants.

I am hopeful that EVERYONE will help with this detail! We are planning a post race party and I would like everyone to have a chance to go so will be asking all participants and volunteers to help keep their area picked up so we can all get out as quickly as possible!

Will need drivers for this part as well to help transport materials back to Meadow Lane, just up the street from the park.

We are planning a post race party at Hilltop Bar and Grille following the lantern lighting ceremony. I need at least one volunteer to promote the party during Starry Night, transport items from the event to Hilltop and help promote the high energy party we are hoping to have at Hilltop!

We are hosting a puppy kissing booth! We have a few volunteers who are bringing their pups (and if you have one you'd like to bring, please do) but am looking for an individual who is interested in manning the booth so we are sure at least one adult will be there at all times.

Master Grillers and servers

Details

In addition to a food vendor, we are looking to offer picnic style food at low cost. I am looking for volunteers to grill hotdogs and hamburgers and serve. If you are interested in providing side dishes such as salads or deserts, please let us know!
