Start/Finish Line Volunteers

Details

Start/finish line volunteers will assist the race management team with checking in runners as they arrive, handing out t-shirts, handing out finishers perks, awards, prizes, and cheering for the runners. The job of finish line volunteer is in a handicap accessible area and can be performed by anyone with a good attitude regardless of age! Volunteers should dress appropriately for the weather (you will be outside!) and should plan to be available from 8:00 AM until 11:00 AM.

Location

All volunteers will meet at Midlothian Middle School and will be directed where to go by the race management team.

Course Marshals

At least 10 more volunteers needed.

Details

Course marshals help runners stay on the right course and cheer for runners on the course. They will stand at a specific part of the course and will point runners in the right direction. Course marshals will need to be able to walk to their station (we will show them where it is) but can bring a camp chair to sit on once they get there. Volunteers should dress appropriately for the weather (you will be outside!) and should plan to be available from 8:00 AM until 11:00 AM.
