Pre Runner

Details

Volunteer will run the course prior to the course being open to participants to check that course markings are still up where they need to be and nothing on the course has been vandalized. Pre-Runners will also check any hazards on the course.
- Volunteers need to come with headlamp pre-course run is often done in the dark

Registration & Check In

Details

Packet Pick is only offered the morning of the race, handing out bibs and other swag purchased by participants and registering day of event participants. Once all runners have been checked in the registration area will be changed over to Post race food, merchandise and marketing.

Food Prep & HQ Aid Station

Details

Help with handing out food and restocking items as they need. Assist in selling merchandise for any participants and spectators. Assist with small aid station at the finish line for marathoners heading out for second loop.

Finish Line

Details

Hand out finisher pins to runners as they cross the finish line and assist the timer in timing for the race.

Aid Station Lead

Help out with nutrition and hydration at the aid station and checking off runners as they come through to keep track of the ultra distance runners on the course.

Course Sweeper

Details

Volunteer will run the course or a portion of the course to take down all course markings, clean up the trails as needed and make sure that all runners have made it back safely and to pull runners who are not going to finish in the cut off time.

Assistant Timer

At least 1 more volunteer needed.

Details

Assist the timer in recording finishing times manually or on Webscorer. The assistant timer needs to be a detail-oriented person and be able to read bib numbers at a distance.
