Onionman is a grass roots, affordable, low key event in beautiful Walla Walla meant to be accessible to all triathletes. This race is for beginners looking to gain experience to elite athletes looking for a competitive, challenging race. Onionman is also open to team competitors. We wish all of you a safe race and encourage you to get out there and swim hard, ride strong, run fast and most of all, enjoy yourselves!
NEW DATE: The 28th Annual Onion Man Triathlon will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2022. The Olympic Distance race held at the base of the Blue Mountains is a 1.5K lake swim, 40K out and back bike, (original bike course is back!) 10K out and back trail run by the lake and on bike path though Rooks Park.
Registration includes a meal ticket to the BBQ and Onion Man merchandise.
Onion Man Triathlon race is a USA Triathlon Sanctioned event, if you are a USAT member you will need to enter your number on the registration page. If you are not a member you will need to click on one day license for $15.00. Here is the link if you would like to purchase a one year membership https://www.teamusa.org/USA-Triathlon/Membership-Services/Join-or-Renew, but you will need to wait for your license number. If you are a USAT member be ready to show your valid Membership Card at packet pick up. Everyone will need to show picture ID as well. Thank you
