Come celebrate the end of season 5K for the Let Me Run program.  At Let Me Run we inspire boys through the power of running to be courageous enough to be themselves, to build healthy relationships, and to live an active lifestyle. This 5K celebrates 7 weeks of training for our boys and we invite you to join us as you walk, jog, or run to support the boys and help provide very important funding for our next season.  we offer a nice flat easy course starting and finishing in Genesee Park in Seattle and looping down Lake Washington Blvd . FAQ

Q. What is Let Me Run?

A: Let Me Run is much more than a running program for boys. Our trained coaches combine exercise with fun activities and lessons to help boys learn teamwork, build relationship skills, create friendships, grow emotionally, amplify their self-esteem, empower themselves and others, and live an active lifestyle. We nurture and celebrate every aspect of what it really means to be a boy, and we let them run. After every season, family, friends, and teachers are astounded by the transformation each boy makes. Let Me Run boys leave the program with a sense of accomplishment, a deeper belief in self, and a greater appreciation for their peers.  For more information on how to join or start a Let Me Run team visit letmerun.org

Please see our different levels of sponsorship here.  Contact Regional DIrector Jen Shevitz to discuss your level of sponsorship, benefits, and how payment can be made.

Q. Got Sneakers!?

A. Have outgrown or worn out sneakers and non metal sports cleats?  Please bring them on race day and fill our bins.  We collect any size, and condition athletic shoes and non metal sports cleats and send them to Got Sneakers.  They give us a small fee depending on the condition and donate the wearable shoes to those in need and take the ones that are worn out and recycle them into tracks and playground.  In 2 years we have saved almost 1300 pairs of shoes from the landfill and donated over $2000 to the Let Me Run Greater Seattle Scholarship fund.  Bring us your old shoes and help us make an impact both on the environment and on boys wanting to be a part of future Let Me Run Seasons.  There will be donation bins near the packet pick-up tables.
