Don Reilly "Race the Rink" 10K/5K Run, 5K Walk & Kids Fun Run

The 16th Annual Don Reilly Run/Walk will be held, rain or shine, on Saturday, September 30, 2023, beginning at 8 a.m. by the family of Don Reilly.  The start and finish of events will be at the Beaver Dam Family Center with the course being an "out and back" race.

Proceeds from the race will benefit the Beaver Dam Family Center. The Family Center's mission is to provide low-cost recreational ice skating programs and opportunities to Beaver Dam and the surrounding communities that help promote their physical, social, and emotional well-being. Our goal through the Don Reilly Run is to help replace an essential piece of equipment for our ice rink, our Zamboni. This equipment is used to keep the ice safe for the public and replacing the current Zamboni (now several years past its life expectancy) with a newer electric model will also eliminate the risk of carbon monoxide exposure.

Runner and walker registration fees include a long sleeve tech shirt and Kids Fun Run fees include a youth t-shirt.  Participants must register by August 30, 2023, in order to guarantee shirt size. 

Finisher medals will be awarded to all 10K/5K runners and 5K walkers.  Winners will be posted immediately following the events. 

Complimentary refreshments will be available for all participants following the race. 

No bikes, roller blades, heelies or skateboards will be permitted for this event. 

 Race packets can be picked up at the Beaver Dam Family Center on Friday, September 29, 2023 from 7 am - 6 pm or on race day from 7 am - 7:45 am.
