Route begins at the Boulder Lake Boat Landing and ends at Camp Manito-wish YMCA.
Bring your paddle craft from the staging area onto the blacktop landing 20 minutes prior to your wave start time.
No pedal kayaks are allowed. If pedals are on a kayak that you use, there will be a 45 minute penalty added to your time on the lake.
You will be required to check-in at the flagged barricades 15 minutes prior to your wave start time with your paddle craft and then carry your paddle craft to the water’s edge to be ready to enter the water when directed.

If you tip over and can right yourself, you may continue. Participants must stay with their craft or pull their craft to shore if they are in shallow water. If you are close enough to shore, you may pull your craft to shore and re-enter the race when ready. If you cannot right your craft, stay with your craft and if possible, pull yourself up on top of the craft and wait for a safety or rescue boat to come an assist you as soon as they can.
You will see a large marker buoy along the shore line as you look out onto the lake. Stay on the outside of the buoys and you will see the turn buoy and turn boat after you pass the 2nd buoy. Paddle beyond and around the turn buoy and head towards the opposite shoreline on your right. You will again see 2 more of the same type of buoys which will take you to the beach at Camp Manito-wish.
