HallowEast 5k – Scared Sprintless: Fight the Dead. Fear the Living.

This evening road race is sure to be the most thrilling 5K experience of your life. Human contestants may wear a belt containing “life flags,” which may be taken by zombies in one of four Zombie Attack Zones along the route. This race will be chip timed, and medals will be awarded to the runners in each age group with the fastest time. We’ll have other fun prizes for the runner who is able to maintain the most life flags by the end of the race. So contestants will be racing against the clock AND running for their lives! Your entire race registration fee will go toward charity. We are partnering with The Charleston Parkinson’s Support Group to raise money for their local group, which plays an important role for people living with Parkinson’s. This year 50% of your registration will go to this worthy cause. The other 50% stays right here on the East End where you’ll see more buildings rehabilitated, new public art, and lots of other things that make the East End your place to be!
