If you are local to LA or have done our Run/Walk in prior years, you may be familiar with beautiful Lake Balboa Park. You can choose to complete your 5k/10k using the course maps below or choose your favorite local trail or loop and time yourself using your run tracking app. You can complete your race in one setting or over a period of time. Not a big exerciser? Challenge yourself to the do the 10k and break it up over the course of 2 days! Check out some local suggestions below!

Race in miles 10k - 6.1 miles • 5k - 3.1 miles
Keep in mind that if the trail you pick is longer, just time yourself until your reach the 5k or 10k mark! Or, if it's shorter, you can do it twice!
Let's get the obvious of the way - Griffith Park & Runyon Canyon are great places with endless distance to run, walk, bike, jog, hike, forget the exercise and picnic, etc!
The Strand - Santa Monica Pier (22 miles) - Just walk or run the distance you want to complete!
Santa Monica Pier to Venice Boardwalk (2 miles)
Sliver Lake Reservoir (3.7 miles) - If you do the Silver Lake Reservoir and Echo Park, you have a 10k!
Echo Park (2.4 miles)
Pacific Palisades Park (3 mile loop) - From Altadena Drive to Santa Monica Pier
