WHAT TIME DOES THE RUN START? The run starts at 8:00am PST.
WHERE DO I PARK? There is plenty of parking available at Kellogg Zaher Park. Use the park entrance at Cimarron for the closest parking to the start/finish.
ARE THERE AWARDS? Registered 5K and 1 Mile participants will receive a finisher’s medal. Awards for the Overall 1st, 2nd and 3rd Male & Female plus
1st, 2nd, 3rd Male and Female in Age Groups: 9 and Under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 and Over
CAN I CHANGE DISTANCES? Yes, just let us know when you pick up your packet or let the race timer know so your results will be correct.
CAN I WEAR HEADPHONES? Yes, headphones are allowed but not recommended for safety purposes.
ARE DOGS ALLOWED? Yes, leashed dogs are allowed on the run. We just ask that you start near the back so you don't interfere with the faster runners.
ARE STROLLERS ALLOWED? Yes, you are welcome to bring a stroller on the run. We just ask that you start near the back so you don’t interfere with the faster runners.
IS THERE A GEAR CHECK? The race starts and ends near the parking area so we ask participants to keep their extra clothes in their vehicles.
CAN I WALK THE 5K? Yes, walkers are welcome!
IS THE RACE CHIP TIMED? The 5K will be chip timed, bibs will have a disposable timing chip in the form of a sticker on the back of you race bib, please wear your bib on the front of your shirt/outer layer. The 1 Mile will not be timed.
HOW MANY WATER STATIONS ARE THERE? There will be one water station for the 5K near the halfway point.
WHERE ARE THE RESTROOMS LOCATED? There are restrooms located behind registration/check-in.
WHEN AND WHERE IS PACKET PICKUP? Packet Pickup will be on Wednesday, November 22, 2023 from 3pm-6pm at 24 Hour Fitness Summerlin, 2090 Village Center Circle.
CAN I PICK UP MY PACKET RACE MORNING? Yes, packet pickup will be available race morning beginning at 7:00am at Kellogg Zaher Park.
CAN I PICK UP A PACKET FOR SOMEONE ELSE? Yes, just give staff the full name of all registrants you are picking up for.
WHEN DOES REGISTRATION CLOSE? Online registration closes at 6pm on Wednesday, November 22, 2023. Registration will be available during packet pickup and race morning beginning at 7am.
CAN I GET MY PACKET MAILED TO ME? Race packets will be mailed to virtual participants only. Packets must be picked up in person for all other participants and will not be mailed before or after the race.
WHAT HAPPENS IF GOVERNMENT RESTRICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW FOR THIS TO BE IN-PERSON DUE TO COVID? In the event this run cannot be in-person, all participants will be changed to virtual and your swag will be mailed to you. There will be no refunds or deferrals.
REFUNDS, CANCELLATIONS AND ADDITIONAL INFORMATION There are no refunds for this event. Race Management reserves the right to cancel or modify the event due to unfavorable conditions. Registration fees are not refundable in the event of cancellation due to “Acts of God.”
