What is RaceJoy?
RaceJoy is a mobile app that offers a new way to experience race day for running, walking and cycling events (and it is still quite effective during this virtual life we’re having). RaceJoy uses your smartphone and other technologies to provide:
If you are registered for the YH 10 mile course or the YH 5K (3.1 miles) course:
Since the actual course maps are defined in RaceJoy for these races, you receive progress updates at every mile as well as a few course directional cues and other alerts as applicable (such as off-course alerts and news alerts). Family and friends can also track you and can send you a cheer (shout out).
If you are registered for the Anywhere 10 mile course or the Anywhere 5K (3.1 miles) course:
Since a course map cannot be defined in RaceJoy for these races, you do receive progress updates based on the GPS location of your tracking device (smartphone) from point to point. Family and friends can also track you and can send you a cheer (shout out).
What do I need to do to use RaceJoy for the Yankee Homecoming Virtual Race event?
