Miles For McMahon

March 1 - 14

Anywhere, CT 99999 US Directions

What a year our students have had! No McManiacs cheering for our football and soccer teams, no band competitions or events, no drama club production, no winter concert, no Poinsettia dance, no packed gym for our basketball teams, and the list goes on and on.
We are hopeful but realistic about what the spring will bring - Fashion Show, Prom and Post Graduation Party?. And...What will graduation look like?

Miles for McMahon is our way to try and have some “virtual” fun while we RALLY FOR THE CLASS OF ‘21!!!
Money raised will be used towards Senior Scholarships, Post Graduations Party and the Athletic department.  In recognition of these unprecedented times, we are also supporting the Norwalk community by donating 10% of the proceeds to Whittingham Cancer Center.

You can sign up as a participant, sponsor or simply make a donation.

Let’s join together in building our students up as our community here and afar build them up by showing our support.

What's a Virtual Race?

Run or walk 5K anywhere you want, even on a treadmill, between March 1-14 Then submit your time to the RunSignUp page, and it will be posted with all the other online results, just like a real physical race.

We've also added a one-mile Health Walk as an option

All participants will receive a commemorative T-shirt, distributed at CGS on 2/27 and 3/6 or mailed to you for an additional charge.

If you can't run...

How to post results

Posting results can sometimes be the tricky part of running a Virtual race. If you use the RaceJoy app, your results should upload automatically (it's recommended you familiarize yourself with the app before using it for the first time).

If you have a Garmin or similar RunSignUp supports integration with GPS devices and apps like Strava, so you can upload your performance that way.

And if you're just using a regular old stopwatch, you can upload your time manually, of course.

Run with RaceJoy

RaceJoy is a free app that tracks your run via GPS and uploads your time automatically to the RunSignUp results page. You can run anywhere you want, or select our "home course" from the Rowayton Community Center, which will give you turn-by-turn instructions on your phone - like WAZE for runners!
