July 4th is on a Thursday this year and Signal Mountain will be celebrating the town's Centennial with the first running of the Signal Mountain "Firecracker" Mile, USATF #TN19029MS
The Signal Mountain "Firecracker" Mile will precede the 4th of July Parade in Old Town at 10 a.m. The race will be fast on treelined streets with large crowds. The runner friendly course is TN Certified and CTC will professionally manage the finish line and use RFID chip timing to ensure the most accurate finish times possible.
Registration which includes a race t-shirt is only $15 until June 27. Online registration ends July 1 with race day registration beginning at 8 a.m. ending at 9:30. T-shirt sizes cannot be guaranteed after June 20 so REGISTER NOW.

The Firecracker start will be on James Boulevard directly across from Alexian Inn, in Old Town on Signal Mountain...take US-127 North toward Signal Mountain pass the Welcome to Signal Mountain sign, turn left directly across from CVS onto Maryland Ave first left onto Mississippi Ave, go approximately 1 mile to Stop Sign. Look for parking...Registration and Check in will be at 206 James Boulevard, from 8 - 9:30 a.m. note: park on residential streets throughout Old Town (other than James Boulevard) and be respectful of driveways.Open in External Application
