The American Cancer Society is excited to announce the newest 24-Hour Challenge. 

Rather than your typical timed event, where athletes are challenged to run a set distance as quickly as possible, we want to see how many miles you can run in 1 hour, 6 hours, 12 hours, or 24 hours. So, whether you are a new athlete, or a seasoned ultra-runner, or have a group of friends that want to split it up as a relay team- this is the 2020 race for you!

By joining the ACS24 movement, you are empowering the largest cancer driven movement on earth!  The American Cancer Society is the largest privately funded source of cancer research on the planet! Our work has never been more important. A cancer diagnosis is one of the most challenging experiences in life, under normal circumstances. Coping with cancer during a global health crisis poses even more challenges, stress, and anxiety.

This event challenges our athletes to see how much ground they can cover over a 1, 6, 12 or 24 hour period.

Virtual, live-stream check ins available for athletes. 

All check ins are optional, and should be thought of as an alternate in-person experience.

Information on how to join these check ins will be sent out via email prior to race day. 

How to Track Results

Participants will track their mileage throughout the 24 hour period.  You can track your mileage using one of the many GPS-enabled tracking systems, but you will manually enter your miles using the steps below:

1. Click on Track Your Miles 
2. Click Submit Your Results
3.  Look up your registration by name or email 
4.  Click Log Activities
5.  Input data & submit!

Miles must be logged by 12 PM EST October 4th.
