We are excited to announce our 19th Annual Booster Shot run. We are even more excited to say the race will be live and will take place on June 12th. It will be open to everyone! All proceeds will be going to support cost of outdoor exercise equipment that will be located behind the WWH Fitness Center near our trail system.
We are ecstatic to offer a 5k and a 10k this year. The course will be on the WWH trail loop. Start/Finish line will be located behind Western Wisconsin Health.
The 5k will be the same route from the Spooky Shuffle, but backwards. It will be 95% trail with 5% blacktop. This race will start with the first wave at 7 am. There will be 2 corrals. If you are a faster runner, we kindly recommend going into corral #1. If you are a slower runner/walker, we kindly recommend corral #2.
The 10k will be using all of the 5k route, but will take to 60th Ave and 200th St as an out and back. 50% trail and 50% blacktop. This race will start at 6:45 am as one wave. We can't allow 100% walkers on the 10k as we are limited on time. Some walking is acceptable.
Trophies will be given to the fastest male and female- 5k, fastest 50+ male and female- 5k, fastest male and female- 10k, fastest 50+ male and female- 10k.
All registered racers will get a Booster Shot t-shirt and mini pie!!
Packet Pickup will be located behind the WWH Fitness Center, will be day of race, and will start at 6am as you will need the bib with the microchip.
Pricing: Prior to May 1: $25 (online or in person) / May 1 to June 10: $35 (online or in person) / June 11 and Race Day: $45 (in person only)
