What Is The Cahaba Race Series?
The Cahaba Race Series is Birmingham's newest event for runners of all ages and abilities! The Cahaba Race Series is a 5K series comprised of four separate events across Birmingham that will be joining together to offer a unique and competitive experience for all runners. The Cahaba Race Series will award a total of $5,000 in cash prizes to overall and age group winners!
Why should runners participate in the Cahaba Race Series?
The Cahaba Race Series will provide runners the opportunity to compete for $5,000 in cash prizes and receive discounted entry into each of the series events. Registration for the series is FREE and the first 250 runners to sign up for the race series will receive a Cahaba Race Series t-shirt at the Blow Away 5K event.
How are the winners determined for the Cahaba Race Series?
The Cahaba Race Series will leverage the following point system and runner classifications to determine the overall winners and age group winners. Overall winners are not eligible for age group awards and all participants will be entered into a drawing for cash prizes that will be presented at the awards ceremony at the Birmingham Zoo.
