Welcome to Team Excel Fitness Center's fundraising page!
This year Excel Fitness Center will proudly be supporting the Semper Fi Fund in two challenging events. Our goal is to raise $250,000 in donations for an amazing nonprofit dedicated to supporting wounded, critically ill and injured service members and their families.
This August, Brent Saunders, CEO of Allergan, with Mark and Kristi Neilan, owners of Excel Fitness Center will take part in the first event - Hell On The Hill 6.
Brent, who is taking on this challenge for the first time, is proud to show his support for an organization that plays such a vital role in providing our brave service members the urgently needed resources that they need.
Kristi and Mark have been involved in raising funds for The Semper Fi Fund for the past 7 years and have raised over $300K for this incredible cause.
At Hell On the Hill, Brent, Kristi and Mark will be running up and down a 35% grade, 85 yards long hill, 100x! To see a recap of last year's event visit the following page: https://jesseitzler.com/hell-on-the-hill-5/
Later this year, Kristi and Mark will be taking on the Last Man Standing Ultra Marathon where they will run a 4.2 mile trail loop every hour on the hour until only one person is left at the starting line! You can learn more about this event here: https://www.back40events.com/lastmanstanding
We ask for your help in supporting those who have sacrificed by making a donation. The process is fast, easy, and secure.
The Semper Fi Fund has been awarded the highest ratings from watchdog groups:
A+ Top Rated Charity from CharityWatch for 7 years, one of only two veteran nonprofits to receive this rating in recent years
4 Stars from Charity Navigator, a rating only given to 3% of all charities.
They maintain an extremely low overhead - 6% - and provide rapid assistance with no red tape.
We truly appreciate any contributions you can provide. If you can't make a donation at this point, help us reach our goal by sharing this page on Facebook and Twitter!
Even better, send an email to friends you think might be interested in contributing and include a link to our page.
