Message from Team Captain: This is my 4th year participating in the National Race to End Women's Cancer. As a survivor, GYN Cancer is an issue very close to my heart. In the Fall of 2013, I was diagnosed with a Reproductive (GYN) Cancer, which led to me having a Radical Hysterectomy in early 2014.

Every five minutes, a woman is diagnosed with a reproductive cancer - cervical, ovarian, uterine, vaginal and vulvar - touching more than 107,470 American women each year.

EVERY woman is at risk for developing a gynecologic cancer.

Ladies, know your bodies! Please pay attention to them. Don't get so caught up in day to day things that you don't take care of yourselves. It is so important. Get your annual exam done on time and if you have any problems, don't wait. Get them checked right away! As women, we need to encourage each other to listen to our bodies. We need to educate ourselves. Take time to learn about your family history regarding cancer. Be proactive. It just might save your life!

**The National Race to End Women’s Cancer is more than a race – it’s a movement! Spread the word, donate if you can. A donation in any amount will make a difference in advancing research and providing women who have been diagnosed with a gynecologic cancer or who may be at risk for these cancers with information that can improve their quality of life. Let's beat these "below the belt" cancers that claim the lives of too many mothers, wives, aunts, sisters, daughters, friends and colleagues.**

THANK YOU!! - Team Caring For Your Girly Bits
