Course Biking Volunteers - 2019 Lakefront Marathon

You must be 18 or older to volunteer for this task.

Minimum met.

Details

Bike volunteeers for the Lakefront Marathon. These volunteers will ride segments of the course monitoring the runner progress and any issues that arise during the run.

Resources Needed

Bike - 1+
Helmet - 1+

Compostable & Recyclable Monitors at Aid Stations

At least 15 more volunteers needed.

Details

Monitors will work at each Aid Station to make sure that compostables, recyclables and waste are placed into the proper collection containers. Monitors will start when aid station volunteers arrive to set up. The completion time will be when aid station completes pack up of the station. Times vary by station location.

Location

2 monitors will be placed at each of the 13 Aid Stations.

Sustainability Team

You must be 18 or older to volunteer for this task.

At least 1 more volunteer needed.

Details

Sustainability Team will count, weigh, and photograph the waste from each Aid Station (see V. Disposal of waste and Sustainability Evaluation)
