NBPL Sub Base Community Recreation Center Bldg. 546 @ 8 am and Admiral Baker Picnic Area @ 8:30 am

This moderate hike will take you to perhaps the most aptly named rock formation along the Pacific Crest Trail. The awesome pile of granite bears an astonishing resemblance to an enormous eagle with outstretched wings. The hike takes you through a delightful variety of landscapes: rolling grass covered hills, an oak-lined creek, and expansive chaparral undergrowth. Price includes transportation, snacks and guided tour.
