Description
**Race check-in is 7:30am and the race will begin at 8am. Please park in lot 5 ( near the main campus loop) for the race. **
The Quality Life Center and FGCU are partnering to host the first ever "Survive and Thrive 5k Obstacle Run/Walk"! This race will benefit the Quality Life Center Teen Program's trip to Washington, D.C.!
This event has something for everyone! From the serious athlete, to the walker... all are welcome! Participants can either choose to "Survive" or "Thrive"!
Survive participants- These are the more serious runners who just want to participate in a 5k!
Thrive participants- Get ready for some good old fashioned fun! These participants will use their brains or their brawn to complete various obstacles along the race route! Think "Minute to Win It" meets "The Amazing Race".
*There are many incentives for participation including t-shirts (for the first 200 participants), prizes, and an exclusive after party! The after party will be held in Cohen Center 214 immediately following the race!*

Paint a Cherry Blossom Tree to support the QLC Teens!
Join us on Sunday, March 19th from 3-5pm at Masterpiece Mixers of Cape Coral for a day filled with snacks, prizes and painting to raise money for a great cause! Painting is $30 each and 50% of the proceeds go back to The Quality Life Center for their Teen Program! Click on the Cherry Blossom photo to register! :)
Dining for Dollar$
Join us Tuesday 3/14 from 5-8pm at Foster's Grill of Fort Myers in Gulf Coast Town Center for the Dining for Dollar$ event! 20% of your bill will go back to the Quality Life Center Teen Program! :)
