Magic for Maddie

Help us honor & remember Maddie, pay her magic forward and create something enduring and meaningful from the beautiful life she lived. 100% of funds raised from this year's event will be donated to local families and causes that were closest to Maddie's heart as well as research and programs for DIPG.

This year's Magic for Maddie has FOUR different ways to participate. 

Join us Saturday, October 14 at Holyoke's Ashley Reservoir. The day will be fun-filled for the whole family and promises to be extra special because it would have been Maddie's 9th birthday! 

• 5K + Carnival: Feeling competitive or want to work up a sweat before the party? Register for our 5K to run or walk 3.1 miles through the beautiful Ashely Reservoir during fall's spectacular foliage peak and earn that beer or ice cream at the end! All 5K participants will receive a bib with official time chip.

• 2 Mile Family Fun Walk + Carnival: If a casual walk is more your (or your family's) speed - the foliage promises to be just as stunning throughout our 2 mile route.

• Carnival Only:  We won't judge!  Skip the fitness and join us for the party!

Or join us wherever it works best for you!

• NEW THIS YEAR: Go Virtual! Can't make it to Holyoke on October 14? We will MISS YOU but are so excited that anyone can share Maddie's magic this October! 

  • Simply run or walk the route of your choice - you decide 2 mile family fun walk, 5K or more! (Less is ok too!)

  • Wear your favorite swag. (Of course we love Magic for Maddie attire, purple, teal or really anything that showcases your inner sparkle)

  • Post a pic making sure to #magicformaddie.

  • We'll mail all virtual participants a medal after the event to celebrate your own MAGIC!
