Fleet Feet Sports, Winter 2016 No Boundaries Learn to Run 5K, 2pt0 & 3pt0 Training


WHAT IS NO BOUNDARIES LEARN TO RUN 5K: A beginner running program designed to guide you safely and effectively into running, while learning valuable information on healthy living. Perfect for beginners who do not run at all or have a hard time starting and are unsure what to do. This program starts out walking and slowly builds into running, preparing you for a 5K (3.1 mile) race.


PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS 5K: Before entering the 5K program you must be able to walk briskly for 30 minutes.
WHAT IS 2pt0 TRAINING: Perfect for runners who recently completed a 5K or have run numerous 5K and want to improve. This program works to improve speed, endurance and performance at the 5K level. Over the 12 week program coaches will work with you to not only improve speed but to help you run up to 5 miles in a fun supportive atmosphere.

PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS 2pt0: Before entering the 2pt0 training program you must be able to run 2 miles without stopping at a 15:00 minuter per mile pace or faster.


WHAT IS 3pt0 TRAINING: Perfect for those who can run 3 miles but have a difficult time running further than the 5K distance. This program will train you to run up to 8 miles preparing you for a 12K race at the end of the 12 week program. This advanced program is great for runners who are aspiring half marathoners or runners who want to increase distance safely. 3pt0 focuses on speed and endurance at the 10/12K level in a supportive fun atmosphere!
PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS 3pt0: Before entering 3pt0 training participants must be able to run 3 miles without stopping at a 15:00 minuter per mile pace.

START DATE: Saturday, February 13th at 8AM
LOCATIONS: All group workouts are outdoors at Fleet Feet Sports as well as various parks throughout Buffalo: Chestnut Ridge, Knox Farms, Niawanda Park, Delaware Park, Canalside
CLASS FORMAT: Two weekly organized and coached run workouts on Tuesdays evenings and Saturday mornings.
6:00pm on Tuesdays at Fleet Feet Sports
8:00am on Saturday mornings at varying locations in Buffalo
COST: Early bird registration $100.00 until Feb 9th. On Feb 10th, the fees increase to $110.
