SUPERHERO 1K & 5K

The Attic is hosting this fun run for the entire community!  Dress up as your favorite SUPERHERO and help us celebrate all the heroes of our community who help with the foster crisis. 

Race Beneficiary:

The Attic Foster Network is an organization that helps children in the foster system every day.  We provide resources including beds, car seats, clothing, diapers, and school supplies for vulnerable children and families in our community.  

In the Permian Basin, almost 90% of children placed in foster care will be moved away from their home county because of a lack of foster homes.  The needs are great, and The Attic is working to engage the community with the crisis. In 2022, The Attic provided services for 1227 children in the Permian Basin.  We expect that number to be even greater in 2023. 

RACE PERKS:  All participants of the 5K who register by April 12, 2023 will receive a SuperHero Run Shirt and other goodies! SHIRTS NOT GUARANTEED FOR REGISTRATIONS AFTER 4/12/23.

AID STATIONS:  We will have one aid station on the 5K route.  Water will be available at the start & finish line as well.

PARKING:

Please use the other First Baptist Church parking lots for parking.

Strollers & Leashed Dogs are welcome! We just ask that you start in the back of the start line. Local leash laws apply.
