4th Annual "Color Me Clarke" 5k Color Fun Run / Walk  Benefiting our Clarke County Public Schools

ONLINE REGISTRATIONS ENDS TODAY AT 3:00pm - YOU MAY REGISTER EVENT MORNING FROM 7:30-8:45am 

Event RAIN OR SHINE (color looks better in the rain!) - Registration and Packet Pickup will move INTO The Parks & Rec LOBBY if Raining at 7:30am  to keep items dry!  

NOTE: We DO NOT have any more event shirts, we ran out Saturday morning - You will still need your bib # and race packet to participate (for color packets for finale and sponsor goody's).  You may wear anything WHITE - and can even wear an old Color Me Clarke shirt!  All our extra shirts were distributed in order of those that registered.  

THEME:  "Be a Hero"  Celebrate our every day heroes, your inner hero, and our superheroes! All the best Heroes are ordinary people.  There is a HERO inside ALL of us, wear your "CAPE" in celebration of all those that make the world a better place!

Is there an age limit?   No age limits! If they can cover (running, jogging, walking, strolling) the three miles of CCPR’s nature trail, they can absolutely participate in “Color Me Clarke”! Remember though, as soon as they are in kindergarten (age 5) they will need to register and have a race bib!  Childcare NOT provided, ALL young children must be accompanied by an adult – No drop offs.

Check in / Packet Pickup begins 7:30am ; Race starts 9:00am (Rain or Shine)

Registration price includes participation in CMC 2017, Event Tshirt (reigster by Mid May to guarantee!), Bib #, sponsor bag, and color finale packet!  We will have a DJ, Dancing, Face Paint and CMC Photo booth area!  

Early packet pickup on Wednesday, MAY 30th  5-8pm at Camino of Berryville  (eat in or carry out from 5-9pm and Camino will donate 10% back to CCEF!) Early packet pickup - great opportunity to get your shirt, color pkt and sponsor information ahead of time!  

Less about the RUN, more about the FUN!  New this year, HERO spirit - dress the part!  Favorite superhero?  

Walk, Run, Skip, Dance, and/or Cartwheel your way thru our Color Zones (Blue, Red, Orange, and Green)- just be back for the color finale!  

Event is NOT a certified course, only top 2 fastest female/male awards (NO age groups, No personal best expectations).  

Dress for SUCCESS, awards for Clarke "HERO" Spirit will be presented! Top 3 spirit awards handed out!

OTHER:

What should I wear? WHITE clothing dress code is highly suggested – accessorize with capes, superhero stuff, tutus, glasses, hats, tights, & crazy socks. SHOW your style!  Clarke "HERO" Spirit awards will be presented – go ALL OUT!

Color Powder Facts:  Not harmful; 100% Biodegradable, 100% food/cosmetic grade; Made in the USA!

Will the Color ruin my clothes/Shoes?  The color mostly washes out, however, please only wear what you don’t mind getting colorful! Chances are it won’t be exactly the same as you arrived!  Bring towels to sit on for the ride home. 

Weather?  A little rain won’t stop this fun! Rain or Shine!  Inclement weather (like lightening) may postpone race time.

Strollers? Yes they are allowed (they will be colorized) ; Be courteous of other participants. Recommend jogger stroller or one with air tires  - it is a nature trail.

Refunds? NO

Donations?  Would be wonderful – all about our Clarke public schools!  100% tax deductible!
