NEW for 2026: FREE Kids Dash!
We\u2019re adding even more holiday fun to the Reindeer Dash with a FREE Kids Dash for children ages 10 and under! This short, fun run gives our youngest participants a chance to experience the excitement of race day, cross the finish line, and be part of the Reindeer Dash celebration. Every Kids Dash finisher will receive a custom finisher\u2019s ribbon, and parents will have the option to purchase a kids-sized event shirt during registration. There is no cost to participate, but registration is required. Bring the whole family and let your little runners join in the holiday fun!<\/p>\n

As the grand finale of the FloDash race season, the Reindeer Dash is a meaningful way to close out the year \u2014 surrounded by cheering spectators, festive spirit, and familiar faces who return year after year. From first-timers to seasoned racers, participants love the welcoming atmosphere, well-marked course, and the joy of finishing strong alongside friends and family.<\/p>\n

This event is made possible through the incredible support of our partners, volunteers, and local leaders. All participants will receive a chip timed bib, a race shirt, a finisher's medal and a post race snack and beverage. All runners and walkers on the course MUST BE REGISTERED. Anyone running without a bib is subjecting themselves to a misdemeanor and putting the race in jeopardy. \u00a0If you want to pace a child, spouse or friend, you MUST register as well. BANDIT AND PACING RULES<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

Participant donations along with part of the proceeds from the race will go to the Town of Howey-in-the-Hills to help local non profit organizations like the local food pantry.\u00a0 Please consider making a donation of any kind to help our\u00a0 neighbors.\u00a0<\/p>\n

What do you get with your entry?<\/span>\u00a0<\/b>All registered participants receive a time chipped race bib, jingle bells for their shoes, a candy cane, custom high quality Santa Hoodie Shirt (register early to guarantee your size), finish line medal, post race hot cocoa if it's cold to warm you up and a free draft beer or soft drink ticket from our finish line sponsor JB Boondocks! Please refer to the flyer at the bottom of this page. The men's club\u00a0 will be selling pancake breakfast to benefit local charities.<\/p>\n

Packet Pick-up<\/b><\/span> <\/span>will be at Dash Sports (741 W Montrose Street, \u00a0Clermont, FL 34711) from 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM on Friday December 11th & \u00a07:00 AM -8:15 AM race morning by the start and finish. Registration during packet pickup day & race day will be $55. You must register on your own device, we will not have paper registration.<\/p>\n

Virtual Packets:<\/span> \u00a0 Packets will automatically be shipped <\/strong>within two weeks after the race and will either have a paper bib or digital one via email. Race start<\/b><\/span> 8:30 AM \u00a0Participants will be asked to line up practicing social distancing based on pace. Times will be based on chip not gun time.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Awards<\/span>\u00a0<\/b> The amazing awards provided by Live Trends Design Group will be announced around 9:30 AM. Categories are top 3 Male and Female overall, First Male and Female Masters, First Male and Female Grand Masters and top 3 Male and Female in 5 year age groups, starting with 9 and under up to 75 and over. \u00a0You may log in to our results page to view the results post race as participants finish.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Team\/ Family Discount!!<\/b><\/span> Bring the whole gang and take advantage of our family pricing when 4 or more members \u00a0register under the same Team \/ Family name. Teams of 4 or more will receive $5 off each participant. Upon creating the team, the first 3 registrants will pay full price, once the team minimum of 4 members has been reached, the previous 3 registrations will receive an automatic $5 refund. All registrations to the same team after that will already reflect the discount.<\/p>\n

Stroller and dog restrictions:<\/b><\/span> For safety reasons NO pets of any kind are allowed on the race course during the event, so please leave your pups at home.\u00a0 Service dogs will be allowed and we ask that you please contact the race director ahead of time to be allowed on course. Bicycles, skateboards, or any other non-authorized motorized carts or vehicles are not allowed on the race course during the event. Please help us execute a safe race for everyone and leave your pooch and wheels off the course. Strollers, for safety, please line up at the back of the pack. Please note there's a small dirt trail section.\u00a0<\/p>\n
