This is an event that seeks to raise awareness for mental health, highlighting the importance of eliminating the stigma surrounding mental illness and suicide, and seeks to give hope!\u00a0<\/p>\n
We're coming together to show each other support and walk\/ run\/ hang out with a common purpose of giving hope for those fighting the battle and for those who have loved and lost.<\/p>\n
Join us in Nebraska City's beautiful historical Arbor Lodge State Park on Memorial Day, at 9 a.m. to kick off the event. Walk or run at your own pace on our pre-determined route through Arbor Lodge... or blaze your own path! The Shine Your Light Mental Health Awareness Event is not timed or distanced; stay and participate as long as you are able.<\/p>\n
We will have supportive literature and a raffle. Support staff will be on hand until 11 a.m.<\/p>\n
Pre Packet pickup day before event details will be announced. Day of event packet pickup starts at 8am at Arbor Lodge Whispering Bench.
