This year, we\u2019re inviting mountain bike riders to join the fun.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>When the sun goes down, the trails get a whole new personality.<\/p>\n<p>The Firefly Trail Festival combines two different ways to enjoy Franke Park after dark.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Firefly Six Hour Trail Race<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul><li>Run as many laps as possible in six hours<\/li><li>Paved path, gravel, and technical singletrack<\/li><li>5:01 PM start<\/li><li>\u00a0Awards at 11:15<\/li><\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Firefly Night Rides<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul><li>10K, 20K or 30k<\/li><li>Franke Park Trails<\/li><li>7:00 PM start<\/li><li>Awards at 10PM<\/li><\/ul>\n<p>The Firefly is more than a race. It\u2019s a chance to set up a base camp, share trail snacks, swap stories, and spend an evening with an awesome trail community.<\/p>\n<p>Every participant receives a custom Firefly finisher medal. Top male and female finishers in each category receive unique handmade awards.<\/p>\n<p>And don\u2019t forget the coveted Dead Freaking Last Award. Because every finisher beats the version of themselves that stayed home on race day.<\/p>\n<p>Bring your miles.<br \/>Bring your lights.<br \/>Chase the fireflies.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The two events have separate courses, but they share the same starting line energy. Mountain bike riders will start about one minute before the runners, sending everyone into the woods as the Firefly evening begins.<\/p>\n<p>This event is about more than miles. It is about meeting people, sharing trail stories, trying something new, and enjoying the awesome community that makes Franke Park special.<\/p>\n<p>Every participant will receive a custom Firefly finisher medal.
