A mountain-built trek across Wintergreen\u2019s rugged Blue Ridge slopes. Push your pace. Carry your weight. Move with the pack. The route weaves shaded single-track, rocky overlooks, and rolling ridgelines with sweeping valley views across Virginia\u2019s high country.<\/p>\n
Choose your distance: 7, 14, 21, or 28 miles, and complete in 10 hours to earn the coveted UltraTrax Grey Wolf Medal. Toss on a 10, 20, or 35-lb weighted vest or ruck and unlock bonus finisher swag + serious bragging rights. The course will be extremely well marked.<\/p>\n
UltraTrax Wintergreen kicks off at 7am on November 7, 2026. The starting line will be open from 7am to 10am. It is not a race, but it is a timed event and walkers will have 10 hours to complete the course. Bibs can be mailed or picked up the morning of the event. **IF YOU REGISTER AFTER 10\/20\/26, BIBS MUST BE PICKED UP IN PERSON. A friend or relative can pick up a bib if you can't attend. Complimentary parking is available onsite. Finishers will receive a custom t-shirt and velcro patch. Level 3 and 4 participants will also qualify to earn our coveted UltraTrax Grey Wolf medal. Refreshments and food will be available for purchase after the race.<\/p>\n
