Early Packet Pickup Greeter (Thurs 2/1 and Fri 2/2)

Details

Welcome the guests coming to pick up their packets.
These volunteers will stand at the door to help direct people through the packet pickup process. Volunteers will help guests with: finding their bib numbers on a board; answering simple race questions; locating registration tables; and sending them to the Help Table if they need additional support.
Wear comfortable shoes, as this task requires you to stand and walk during the duration of the shift.

Team Packet Distribution Volunteer

These volunteers will help checkin the teams looking to grab all of their packets at the Team Pickup Area. This shift does include standing and some lifting of team boxes.

Race Bib Volunteer

These volunteers will stand at the Race Bib tables. Guests will approach and say their bib number. Volunteers will find their bibs and have each guest check for accuracy. If any errors, the volunteer will direct the guest to the Help Table.

Shirt Distribution Volunteer

Details

These volunteers will stand at the shirt distribution tables. Guests will approach with their bib that lists the shirt size they will receive. Volunteer will mark off that they have received their shirt. If a guest wants a different size, they will need to take their current shirt to the Help Table to see if there are any other size options available for swapping. *No shirt swapping will be done at the shirt distribution tables.

Swag Distribution Volunteer

As guests finish the packet pickup area, they will be handed a swag bag. Volunteers in this area will be passing out the bags and getting refills from the bag storage area.

Race Morning Packet Pickup Volunteer

Details

Day of Race Packet Pickup Volunteers will help guests in a variety of tasks. These include: finding bib numbers, passing out bibs, passing out shirts, refilling stock and general race questions. All Race Day Registrations and guests needing additional help will be directed to the Help Table at the side of the Packet Pickup Tent.

Location

Volunteers will help at the large white Packet Pickup tent located on West Indiana Ave, at the base of the Historic Courthouse steps.

Start Line Corral Marshal

On Race Morning these volunteers will stand near start line helping organize participants into the correct start corral.

Start Line Sign Holders

On Race Morning these volunteers will hold the signs to help participants find their correct corrals to start race.

Meet near Start Line at 7am to get a sign and location.

Route Support (Woodland/Indiana turn)

Details

Volunteers will stand at this intersection near the start of race to cheer on all participants and make sure they go in the correct direction.

Report to intersection of Woodland and Indiana at 7:30am

Finish Line Support

Details

Set-up tables with water and bananas. Help distribute to finishers and keep the crowd of finishers moving through to the exit of the race.

Race Clean Up Crew

Help clear items out of the finisher area. This could include: tables, tubs, boxes, signage, etc
