Cocodona Charity Bibs

2025 registration is now live here: https://runsignup.com/Race/AZ/BlackCanyonCity/CocodonaCharityBibs

New for 2024, we have charity bibs for all distances!

Cocodona is the brainchild of Jamil Coury, brought to life by Aravaipa Running – linking together some of the most iconic trails and towns in Arizona for one monumental undertaking of 250ish consecutive miles. Join us May 6-11, 2024 for this life-altering ultramarathon.

New this year, we also have charity bibs available for the Sedona Canyons (125 miles) and the Elden Crest (38.5 miles)!

The Cocodona Trail is a curated route linking historic towns and paths off the beaten path through central Arizona. The rich history of the towns linked up through little-traveled ranges makes this a one-of-a-kind tour of Arizona.

From the beauty of the Sonoran desert, through canyons and pine forests this is a magical route. The accomplishment of traveling the Cocodona Trail on foot will be one of the most life-changing and epic journeys of an endurance athlete's career. We envision this as a once-in-a-lifetime experience and the pinnacle endurance challenge in North America.

Cocodona 250 takes runners from Black Canyon City up into the Bradshaw Mountains – an area steeped in gold mining lore – to the historic town of Crown King. The course then traverses more of the Bradshaws, up and over Mount Union, and snakes down into Prescott where it cuts straight through town on Whiskey Row and out into the iconic Granite Dells. From Prescott the course heads up and over Mingus Mountain into the town of Jerome and onward through Sedona, experiencing a mix of stunning red rock formations and high desert vistas. As runners leave Sedona, the course starts to get into the pines of Flagstaff, finishing up and over Mt Elden and into downtown Flagstaff. It is an extraordinary undertaking and gives runners an incredible point-to-point experience through some of the best landscapes that Arizona has to offer.

How it works: Raise money to support a cause that matters to YOU!

This event kicks off on May 6th and you have until April 18th to raise money for these communities that inspire us to run!

Fundraising minimums vary based on distances: Cocodona 250- $5,000; Sedona Canyons-$3,000; Elden Crest- $1,250

Once you have hit 75% of your fundraising minimum, you will be sent a code to register for the race.

Please take this seriously because we have limited charity bibs available for this event and once we are full, you will be committed to raising the minimum amount or paying your fundraising difference two weeks before the event.

What is a 'Charity Bib'?

When you sign up for a Charity Bib and commit to being a fundraiser for the Cocodona 250, it means you're going to lead your own personal fundraiser and raise at least your minimum for one of our nonprofit partners or a cause of your choice. During registration you will be automatically prompted to create a fundraising page...you can even create your personal URL for your fundraiser!

But, don't worry, we will be here to support you through the entire journey (well, maybe not the actual 250 miles part)!

Once you meet that fundraising minimum, your entry to the Cocodona 250, Sedona Canyons or the Elden Crest is FREE (please note that you are committing to raising the funds or paying the difference if the funds are not met by two weeks prior to the event)!

Don't wait. Sign up and start fundraising now!

After this event, we will donate a percentage of the Charity Bib profits to the organization of your choice! For 2024, we will also be donating a portion of the charity bib funds raised to support Wilderness Volunteers and their work in the host communities.
