Chinle Wellness Center 1/2 Marathon & 10K

Ya'at'eeh! Welcome to the Chinle Wellness Center's 4th annual Half Marathon & 10K. The course will start/finish behind the Chinle Wellness Center facility, 1/2 mile will be on a paved road from the beginning and end of the race, the rest will be on a well maintained dirt road and single track course with packed down roads and paths that make for great running footing on top of Ventana Mesa in Chinle. Throughout the course there will be views of Black Mesa further to the west, as well as Chinle Valley.

1/2 MARATHON & 10K FEE

Due to the high demand of participants requesting to add a 10K or 5K, the CWC staff have settled with adding a 10K. We have decided to keep the registration fee $25 to purchase 10K overall awards in a short notice. 

REGISTRATION

Online registration will close on September 21, 2018 at 11:59 PM (DST) 

Onsite registration will be provided at the Chinle Wellness Center and will close on race day; September 29, 2018 at 6:50 AM (DST) (Accepting only "CASH" or "MONEY ORDERS," money orders must be paid to "Chinle Hospital Employee Association").

RACE SCHEDULE

6:00 - 6:45 AM (DST) - Packet pick-up, runner check-in and late registration (Accepting cash only on race day, $25)

7:00 AM (DST) - Start of Half Marathon

7:30 AM (DST) - Start of 10K

TBD - Half Marathon Awards

TBD - 10K Awards

PARKING

Please park on the West parking lot behind the Chinle IHS building.

PACKET PICK-UP

An advance packet pick-up will be held on Friday afternoon (September 28) from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Chinle Wellness Center.

We hope that local runners and anyone else in town Friday can pick up their packet early to reduce congestion on race day.

A runner packet will include the bib number and t-shirt.

DROP BAG

A drop bag will not provided at this race.

AWARDS

Every participant in the 1/2 marathon & 10K  will receive a 16 oz. glass cup and t-shirt.

Overall awards for both events will be given to the following top 3 male and female:
Overall 1st place – Male and Female
Overall 2nd place – Male and Female
Overall 3rd place – Male and Female
