The Cause
While looking for alternative ways to raise money for our youth club, and at the same time stay connected and engaged with our supporters and the broader community, we came up with the idea to host a 5K fundraiser. Our hope is that we can provide a way for people to get out of their house in a safe and healthy manner, and also support a club that they love.
About the Detroit City FC City Youth soccer program
The Detroit City FC City Youth soccer program is a community-focused affiliate program entering its fifth season. The program provides resources and networks to provide accessible soccer development and training to youth players from the city of Detroit at-low to no cost. Detroit City FC provides technical staff and works with the clubs to develop a coaching curriculum for the program.
