The HERO 5k has been raising money to support our student veterans for eight years. We rely on
donations to fund our student veteran emergency funds and scholarship funds assisting our veterans
when they are in financial need. This year we are hoping to send our students to the Students Veterans
of America Conference January 4th – 6th 2024 in Nashville TN.
The Student Veterans Association National Conference “NatCon” serves as a focal point in the academic
year to share ideas, best practices, and network with student veterans, military-connected students,
their families, supporters, and allies, as well as corporate, government, and nonprofit partners, and
more!
The money we raise this year will help our veterans’ students attend this important conference and
provide needed support as they are able to make connections that will help them achieve their career
and life goals.
