Description

Founded in 1982 by the late Robert J. Aaron.

We are back to having a Live Triathlon

Long considered one of  the east end season openers, we will be celebrating our 43rd anniversary this year.  Since Robert's death in 2002, the race has been used as a fund raiser for pancreatic Cancer Research, supporting the Lustgarten Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer.

The  Olympic race consists of a 1 mile swim, 20 mile bike and 6.2 miles run. The Aquabike consists of the 1 mile swim and 20 mile bike. The Sprint triathlon introduced last year, consists of a 1/2 mile swim, 14 mile bike and 3.8 mile run. The Olympic race/Aquabike  goes off at 7:30 and the Sprint follows at approximately 8 am.
