Description
The Junior Service League of Minden will host the 2nd Annual Color Run. It will include a 1mile fun/walk and 5K run/walk on October 6, 2018 at Minden Recreation Complex.
All participants will be given a Color Run fun pack. The pack will include a t-shirt, color powder, sunglasses, and a headband. During the 5k route the participants will run thought different color stations and be blasted with colored powder! This race will be fun for all ages. We are expecting a huge turn out from our people of Minden and surrounding communities. Money raised from the entry fees and donations will go to support Joe LeBlanc Food Pantry. The food pantry helps support 710 families in Webster parish. Join the Junior Service League of Minden and lets help feed our community.
We are excited about hosting the second annual Color Run in Minden, La. Our vision for Color Run is to offer a family fun event that will attract participants in Minden and surrounding communities, raise money for Joe LeBlank Food Pantry, and have a successful 1 mile fun run and 5K that everyone will enjoy.
We will have a fun pre and post party after the race. We will have food, drinks, music, and door prizes.
