Sunday, October 7— 7:30am–11:00 am. Start and end times vary based on location on course but no earlier/later than listed end time.Directing runners and keeping them safe along the route are key.
Duties include a proper understanding of the course, being able to stop pedestrian and/or traffic while runners cross.
Skills – Loud clear voice, outgoing personality. No lifting. Able to walk and stand for a 2 hour a.m. shift.

Water Stop Workers High Priority

Job Duties – Fill water cups, hand water to runners, pick up trash, Set up Water StopSkills – Able to walk and stand for a 2 hour a.m. shift. Someone may have to lift 40 lb. water jugs.

Packet stuffer - needed 2-6 High Priority

Job Duties:
Place all donated goodies and T-shirt in bags for runners. Put pre-registered participants on bags.

** This will take place 2-3 days before race

Refreshment/Food distributor

Sunday, October 7— 7:00am–11:00 am. Start and end times vary based on location on course but no earlier/later than listed end time.Set up and restock refreshments. Cut up fruit, mix Gatorade.
Food Distribution: Make sure there are plenty of bananas, Panera bagels, apples, etc. at easy reach for the runners. Duties include restocking tables.
Clean up area after race
Skills - Some lifting required, 5 gallon water jugs, boxes of fruit, garbage bags. Able to walk and stand for a 2.5 hour a.m. shift.

Start and Finish line workers

The runners are happy to be done. Some are waiting for their friends/family to cross. But we need to make sure everyone can get through so we don't have a back-up of runners waiting to cross the finish line. Duties include keeping runners moving efficiently through the chute, directing runners to the post-race area where they can wait for loved ones, get their Finishers picture taken, and retrieve their belongings from gear check.Job Duties – Move runners/walkers to the start line. Help keep strollers and dogs at the rear of the pack.
Skills – Loud clear voice, outgoing personality. No lifting. Able to walk and stand for about a 3 hour shift.

Great for Groups! WE GOT SPIRIT YES WE DO — WE GOT SPIRIT HOW 'BOUT YOU! Be a key player in keeping the excitement and momentum going on course. Make banners and posters with encouraging words— anything to bring out a smile on our runners faces! Standing for long periods of time is required — jumping with excitement is encouraged.

Floater

You must be 18 or older to volunteer for this task.

So much to do, so little time! If you read through the positions and find that you can't make your mind up — no worries! "Floater" is the job for you! Duties will include being flexible and adaptable to any role that may need additional assistance. Requirements — Flexibility and a can do attitude!
