This task group is specifically for the Greater Cleveland Young Marines. Please only select this Task if you are part of the GCYM group of volunteers. Registration High Priority

You must be 18 or older to volunteer for this task.

High Energy Area! Volunteers here need to be fast and friendly! Meet and greet participants as they arrive and get them registered into the system, assign them a runners BIB, and hand them their welcome packet.

T-Shirts Medium Priority

You must be 16 or older to volunteer for this task.

At least 1 more volunteer needed.

Details

Volunteers here will be responsible for locating participants on the roster and distributing the proper t-shirt to each person.

Traffic, Parking & Safety High Priority

You must be 16 or older to volunteer for this task.

At least 2 more volunteers needed.

Details

Volunteers here need to be on their toes! Must be willing to stand on your feet for the entire duration of the event. Volunteers for this job may be assigned the task of Parking Lot Attendant, Road Guards, or Safety Response Team.

Aid Station High Priority

You must be 16 or older to volunteer for this task.

Minimum met, 2 volunteer spots remaining.

Details

Volunteers who work the Aid Stations need to be friendly and upbeat. Volunteers who sign up for this category could be asked to work at one of the Aid stations. You will hand out drinks and snacks to the participants as they travel along the course route.

Informational/Directional Greeter Low Priority

Minimum met, 1 volunteer spot remaining.

Details

Are you friendly and outgoing? This is the perfect role for you. Meet and greet the event participants as they arrive and direct them where to go for registration, and preparation. Know the "ins and outs" of the race before anyone else and help participants with any questions or concerns they might have.

Course Marshall / Road Guard High Priority

You must be 12 or older to volunteer for this task.

At least 1 more volunteer needed.

Details

Volunteers for this task will be placed along the race route and will be tasked with monitoring the overall progress of the race. You will ensure things along the race route are running smoothly and safely.

6AM Start Time

Set-Up & Tear-Down High Priority

At least 5 more volunteers needed.

Details

Be the first to arrive, and the last to leave. This is a VERY important role! Volunteers here will be asked to arrive at the event early to help set-up. Some volunteers will be assigned to the tear-down and will be asked to stay late. Requires strong commitment and dedication. Volunteers for this commitment will receive free breakfast in the morning.
