Details

Looking for volunteers to assist with the FRIENDS Buddy Run 5K. We need volunteers to man water stations, course workers to help guide runners to the race route, race day registration, and course set-up and clean-up

Water Station

Details

Volunteers will serve water at stations set up throughout the course and will clean up around the station

Course Marshal

Details

Course Marshals will assist in setting up cones/chalking course before the race, will be stationed on the course, directing runners/walkers on the correct course, assisting with traffic control and monitoring the safety of our participants

Assisting the race timer

Details

Volunteers will help distribute cards to each finisher and assisting in making sure each each card is filled out with name and time and that each card is turned in and documented

Finish line/Medals/Trophies

Minimum met, 2 volunteer spots remaining.

Details

Volunteers will be stationed at the finish line of the special needs dash to distribute medals, stationed at the finish line of the 5k to direct runners to the post race refreshments and will assist in handing out medals and trophies to the top finishers in different age groups.

Clean up

At least 4 more volunteers needed.

Details

Volunteers will assist with clean up of the grounds during and after the event and break down after the event

Race day registration

At least 1 more volunteer needed.

Details

Volunteers will process race day registrations, take race day fees, greet runners, provide information and offer assistance as needed

Race day packet pick-up

Minimum met, 2 volunteer spots remaining.

Details

Volunteers will distribute race packets, race bib numbers and t-shirts to all participants who have completed their registration.
