Independent Living Choices (ILC) is a 501?3 private nonprofit that was established in 1982 and formerly known as Prairie Freedom Center for Independent Living (PFCIL). We provide services to people with disabilities who make independence their choices. Our services are designed to assist and educate participants, so they learn to do for themselves in turn helping people live more safely and independently in their own homes. We provide services such as independent living skills training, assistance in finding affordable and accessible housing, peer counseling services, home modifications, and adaptive devices, etc.
