Project CAR is a volunteer-powered transportation ministry serving Sioux Falls. We connect trained, compassionate drivers with seniors, low-income and financially marginalized neighbors, and people with developmental disabilities—so they can get to medical care, work, worship, and volunteer opportunities safely and reliably. We believe access to transportation is not a privilege, but a matter of dignity. Every ride we provide helps reduce isolation, strengthen independence, and sustain the quiet relationships that hold a community together. At Project CAR, a ride is never just about getting from point A to point B—it’s about belonging.
