Description
The Delta Upsilon Chapter of Kappa Kappa Gamma will be hosting its 4th Annual 5K for Kappie! This event is being held in honor of our late sorority sister, Catherine Williams, who passed away on June 2nd, 2020 after a courageous 13-month battle with osteosarcoma. Catherine Williams was 18 years old, and a recent graduate of North Atlanta High School. She was admitted to and excited to attend the University of Georgia in the fall of 2020. In the week before her death, Catherine accepted an early bid and was initiated into the Delta Upsilon Chapter of Kappa Kappa Gamma as a double legacy.
All proceeds from this event will go to CURE Childhood Cancer, a non-profit organization whose mission is dedicated to conquering childhood cancer through funding targeted research while supporting patients and their families devastated by a childhood cancer diagnosis.
We look forward to this opportunity to celebrate the extraordinary life of Catherine Williams.

The start and finish will be on Foundry Street beside the Pavilion and will run through downtown Athens. Course map coming soon.

There will be T-Shirts and lots of fun freebies and give aways
Awards
Awards will be given to Overall Male and Female, Masters Male and Female.
There will be finisher medals for all participants.
Virtual Option
Run your 3.1 miles anywhere. Submit your finish time by clicking on the RESULTS tab at the top of this page. Submit finish times no later than 12 noon on April 6. To submit a virtual time you must be registered as a virtual runner.
Virtual runners may pick up your t-shirts at The Kappa House, 440 Milledge Ave, Athens, GA. Or, at registration pay a $10.00 mailing fee to have the shirt mailed to you.

What if it Rains?
We get wet! Race start time may be delayed in 15-minute increments if storms are in the area. Sorry, no refunds due to inclement weather.
