Kids K Run is a 1k fun run that starts at the JCC property and continues west down Northaven Rd. towards Valleydale, where they will turn around and run back to the JCC finish line. All registered kids will receive a t-shirt and medal. This is open for ages 4–12.
5K Walk/Run takes you through a beautiful residential neighborhood along tree-lined streets with minor elevation changes. The race finishes on the Northaven Trail which, will bring you back to the JCC.
10K Run is the same course as the 5K Walk/Run. Once runners return to the JCC, they will continue on the same course a second time, which will complete the full 10K run.
Virtual Run is a run you complete anytime, anywhere you choose! Run it, walk it, or jog it anytime and anywhere you want! You can track your miles by using your favorite running app such as Strava, Nike, Garmin Connect, Runkeeper, or Map My Run or any other app you like using.

Every year, the Aaron Family Jewish Community Center (AFJCC) looks forward to coming together to celebrate A Mother’s Day tradition. While we were disappointed our 2020 Bagel Run could not take place in-person, we were grateful we still had more than 500 virtual runners.
As our event date approaches, the AFJCC will continue to follow the guidance of local government and health officials as it relates to precautions being taken relative to COVID-19. If the decision is made that the event cannot be held in person, all registered runners will be converted to a virtual experience. This will include a 4” custom Bagel Run themed medal, participant shirt, mask, and race bib. The period to complete the race will be from May 7, 2021-May 23, 2021.
Like any major event, the Bagel Run requires a great deal of planning, marketing, and operations prior to race weekend. As a non-profit organization, the AFJCC is not in position to issue registration refunds as is stated in our race policies and agreed to upon race registration. We appreciate your continued support for the longest running event of the AFJCC and remain optimistic we will be able to host a challenging and fun in-person experience on Sunday, May 9, 2021.
