The Ketchikan Running Club (KRC) is a 501c(3) non-profit organization. The purpose of this organization is to improve the physical fitness and mental well-being of its members and the community through the promotion and encouragement of running, walking, and other physical activity. Membership is open to runners, walkers, and any other interested parties. Your membership fees help to fund annual scholarships for local high school runners and also help KRC purchase insurance for races and upgrade racing supplies.

In 2024 KRC awarded 3 scholarships to Ketchikan High School seniors in the amounts of $500 to Alyanna Dela Cruz, $500 to Julia Biagi, and $1000 to Clancy Thomas. Congratulations to them for being members of our active community and taking their education beyond Kayhi.   

Your membership and registration fees also allowed KRC to update some race equipment, look for our new set up at our 2025 events!
